I was quite perplexed to read the comment above referencing Eumelanin and Pheomelanin in the context of spiritual trancendance. Whites actually do have both types... they are not relational whatsoever to para-event. "Eumelanin is metabollized from DHICA and produces a brown color in hair in its intact form; pheomelanin is metabolized from 5,6-indolequione, which produces a red color in hair in its intact form. From these two slightly different forms of pigment in various degrees of structural integrity come all the differing shades of Caucasian hair (Prota 2000).
